Thank you, now it's brilliant!

As of archive links, there probably was
a kind of temporary problem with my networking.

I marked 'wwwru-list' for deletion.

Regarding the archive links, they appear to be OK now - maybe there was a delay before the list was created?

Thank you!

Last note to make it perfect: on
https://savannah.gnu.org/mail/?group=www-ru
I see two lists;
the second one is obsolete wwwru-list and
actually these links are dead

Ah, and
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/www-ru-list/
looks dead for me, too (The requested URL was not found)
and the same on the list info page
http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/www-ru-list
link "www-ru-list Archives"
http://lists.gnu.org/pipermail/www-ru-list/

Surprisingly,
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/www-ru-list/2009-12/threads.html
leads me to current messages.

Thank you for support

1. The script is an old work-around and it's probably best if an admin makes this kind of things atm (and I just did).

2. The webpage mentions that you need to replace /sources with /web . This is because there's no way in viewvc to detect whether it's a web repo or a source repo.

3. Apparently these are old settings that were saved before the 'translations' group type lost the privileges to edit these URLs. This is essentially a bug, I fixed the settings manually in the DB (reset to NULL so they get the default as initially planned).

Admittedly, not exactly easy to figure out.

I'm sorry, but I'm not able to help.  Sylvain?

1. Regarding attaching www-ru-list (instead of wwwru-list) to the www-ru project, I tried running /usr/src/infra/maintenance/ml.pl -a jimcrow -g www-ru -l www-ru-list | mysql savane, after "vserver vcs-noshell enter".  It said it couldn't connect to mysql.  Without entering the vserver, it couldn't find Savane.pm.

2. Regarding http://web.cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/www-ru/?root=www-ru having /sources in the command instead of /web, I have no clue where/how that is being generated, or at what level it needs to be fixed.

3. Regarding the "Development Tools" links on https://savannah.gnu.org/projects/www-ru/ going to wwwru instead of www-ru, I'm likewise out of luck.  (I would have hoped they'd be generated off the "Select Features" url's, but evidently not.)

Sorry for my cluelessness.

All links on the "Select Features" form are correct.

But links in "Development Tools" group home page of our project is wrong. Same is on http://savannah.gnu.org/mail/?group=www-ru page.

I certainly can't do it personally, I'm not even a member of the project, just a new volunteer; I'm sorry I was not clear on this.

I'll try to forward this to the team leader.

Hi Pavel -- is it possible to fix at least some of the bad urls on the "Select Features" form under Administration?  Please try, and let us know.

Thanks,
Karl

On http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/www-ru some links are outdated (typically, there is wwwru instead of www-ru).
E.g. "http://savannah.gnu.org/cvs/?group=wwwru" (Source Code Manager: CVS Repository);
the same is observed on the mailing lists page http://savannah.gnu.org/mail/?group=www-ru, e.g.
"http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/wwwru-list/" (wwwru-list-archives).
Also, on http://web.cvs.savannah.gnu.org/viewvc/?root=www-ru there is a wrong cvs command displayed:
"cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sv.gnu.org:/sources/www-ru co ." instead of "cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sv.gnu.org:/web/www-ru co .".
The team leader told me this issue should be reported to Savannah administration;
I marked it important because the same leader said the team
needs help very much, and GNU project declares the Russian translation to be important;
whereas these bugs significantly discourage new volunteers. Please let me know if I can help.
