It looks like you got it right now.
- the previous keys had several extra space in them
- the current keys still need 1/2h to replicate, so when you tested right away the system were still using the old keys.

Should be good now.

I checked the key for whitespace and they were there, evidently from cut n' pasting less output.

However, I now have two copies of the key here from which I have tried to delete the whitespace and I still cannot log in.

Other places where I use ssh I just cp the .pub to authorized_keys and it works; is there any chance I can just upload the .pub file instead? Trying to cut n' paste a 600 byte string is just not working for me, obviously.

Beyond this there really is nothing left for me to try and I'll just forget about it.  Am I using the right address?

Well some news. Another Savannah Administrator was watching this thread and thought to update the code. I am not sure it will solve your problem, but try to upload your ssh-key without spaces in the second part.

I'm starting to feel like a real twit here.  I registered a key and there is a message "Success: Key #1 seen Keys registered", however:

[root~] sftp -oIdentityFile="/root/.ssh/savan_dsa" -email is unavailable-

Connecting to dl.sv.nongnu.org...
Permission denied (publickey).
Couldn't read packet: Connection reset by peer

[root~] ssh -i "/root/.ssh/savan_dsa" -email is unavailable-

Permission denied (publickey).

That is the correct key and this is the exact same procedure I use elsewhere (successfully) with ssh.  Maybe I need a better tutorial ;)

I think the issue is that you still have not uploaded your correct ssh key to savannah. Follow this document for instructions to create an ssh key and where to upload it:

Hey Nico, I'm very sorry, I got swamped with work here suddenly a few months ago and am still trying to work my way out of it.  I had pushed this to the back of my mind.

I think the link you gave should satisfy me, but it will still be a couple of more days before I can get around to it dealing with it.  If I have problems then I will be sure to ask.

Sorry again -MK

Hey, I too think the savane web client takes some getting used to. I see that your project still has not uploaded its files to the downloads.

Is there anything I can help with that you do not understand?

Hi,

Hopefully this documentation will help you.

I'm new to savannah, so all apologies for "double-posting" this to the mail-list; I thought that would end up here (actually, I'm hoping this will, where is this? ;) and only just found the "submit" option in the top bar "support" (there is no such link thru the sidebar or on the thread list).

Anyway:  how can I add files into my "download.nongnu.org/releases" directory?
