Ok, sorry, I though your log was about Savannah.
We do not have access to ftp.gnu.org.

SFTP access to ftp.gnu.org is not planned for now, but I think we could consider mirroring Savannah to ftp.gnu.org in the future.

I know that I have to put my files at /incoming/savannah/$PROJECT/ :-) The path was different because I was uploading to ftp-upload.gnu.org this time, but the error is the same.

I have talked with the admin of my network and he says that its a problem of our network that he has not been able to solve yet :(

However, I've already tried SFTP and it works ok, so as soon as it is enabled I will start using it. Will there be SFTP access for ftp.gnu.org too?

Thanks,
JP

Hi,

You need to put your files at /incoming/savannah/$PROJECT/

Also, we're opening an sFTP access, you might prefer this method:
sftp raskolnikov@dl.sv.gnu.org:/releases/gnujump

I get those problems on ftp:

with ncftp:
raskolnikov@nexus:~/devel/gnujump/releases$ ncftpput ftp-upload.gnu.org /incoming/ftp sdljump-1.0.0-osx.tar.gz*
ncftpput sdljump-1.0.0-osx.tar.gz: server said: Requested action not permitted.
ncftpput sdljump-1.0.0-osx.tar.gz.directive.asc: server said: Requested action not permitted.
ncftpput sdljump-1.0.0-osx.tar.gz.sig: server said: Requested action not permitted.

with lftp:
raskolnikov@nexus:~/devel/gnujump/releases$ lftp ftp-upload.gnu.org
lftp ftp-upload.gnu.org:~> cd /incoming/ftp
cd ok, cwd=/incoming/ftp
lftp ftp-upload.gnu.org:/incoming/ftp> put sdljump-1.0.0-osx.tar.gz
put: Access failed: 550 Requested action not permitted. (sdljump-1.0.0-osx.tar.gz)

Hi,

Where do you get this error? (ftp, e-mail?)

Can you post a complete ftp session?

Beware that uploads on sv.gnu.org won't appear at ftp.gnu.org.

Hi,

I tried to upload some files to savannah ftp (osx and ubuntu versions of gnujump) but I got a "Requested action not permitted."

Then, I decided to start using ftp.gnu.org, I sent the registration file, created the directive files and tried to upload, but I got the same message.

I have tried with both ncftpput and lftp.
