Hi,

This is related to the Savane software; while I'm part of the team I don't really work on the tracker, so your best bet is opening a discussion at http://gna.org/p/savane :)

It's probably not the first time that you're told that the emails the Savannah trackers send out on updating reports, etc. are not the most easy ones to grasp.  (And it's probably not the first time that you're told that it would be a very handy feature to be able to use emails to add content to reports on the Savannah trackers...)

But what is plainly unreadable are the emails sent out when changing a ``custom text area'' field.  See <http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-hurd/2006-10/msg00043.html> for an example.  Couldn't e.g. some sort of `diff' output be presented here instead?
