We are aware that there are some problems with the
functionality of this application. We are currently
reviewing our accounts/contacts structure, which may provide

I wonder what happens though if you have to entries with the
same first name. That could be troublesome. By having a
nickname you can assure unique identifiers.

I tried using the first name in the To: field and it woked
as a "nickname". I do not if it was a coinsidence

It would be nice to have Nickname support in Email like
Yahoo Mail has. This way you don't necessarily have to
use the Addressbook pop-up window to get email
addresses. A nickname would allow you to enter a list
of nicknames like joe, bob, jill in the To field and when
you click send, it will search the addressbook for
those names and autmatically substitute their default
email addresses.
