This is a feature request and has been marked as such.  The
request will be evaluated, and possibly included in the next (or
later) release.

The problem is that SQL Server defaults to non-ANSI
compliant behaviour when a field is not specified to be
nullable or not.

Set the ANSI null property to true for the database, it will
take care of the null values problem.

All columns default to NOT NULL in sql server 6.5 or less.
If you're using freetds, setting the tds version to 7.0 or higher (assuming you're using 7.0 or higher) takes care of
the null/not null problem.  Though specifying NULL explicitly is probably not a bad idea.

When trying to install phpwg with MSSQL I get the
following message when trying to "install all
applications" from the setup menu:

"Cannot insert the value NULL into
column 'server_host',
table 'phpgroupware.dbo.phpgw_interserv'; column does
not allow nulls. INSERT fails..."

This problem seem to get solved by by adding to
class.schema_proc.inc.php at line 386 :

else
{
$sFieldSQL .= ' NULL';
}

but still there is a problem by not beeing able to
insert values for autonumbers...:

"Cannot insert explicit value for identity column in
table 'phpgw_applications' when IDENTITY_INSERT is set
to OFF"
