GNU Typist now has a new maintainer: Paul Goins.
A new release of gtypist is expected sometime within the next month. This will mostly be bug fixes and other changes which have been sitting in CVS but have not been properly released, though ...

Highlights: made the curses interface much more friendly by using menus controlled by arrow keys instead of function keys. Includes new lessons in Russian, and new interface translations in Dutch, Russian and Traditional Chinese.

Version 2.6.2 - September/2002
- Now installs lessons (bug only in version 2.6.1).

- findwords.sh: new script to help with creating lessons.
