This is a bug fix release.
Changes in 2.9.2:
- fix collision between unicode 0x107 (c with accent) and KEY_BACKSPACE (Reported by Kalthor)
- change documentation licence so that there are no invariant sections

This is a bug fix release.
Changes in 2.9.1:
- Native Language Support added on Windows
- fixed support for UTF-8 on Windows
- re-added vim syntax highlighting and updated manual
- updated Polish translation, thanks to Jakub Bogusz
- several fixes to the build system

This release contains several new features, the most important of which is surely full UTF-8 support. Most GNU/Linux distributions now come with terminals set to use UTF-8. This should fix the configuration problems that non-US-ASCII users have been having.

We're pleased to announce GNU Typist 2.9beta1.
This is a test release and should not be used in a production environment. The purpose of this test release is to get a broader range of people to try out the next version of gtypist before it is released properly.

This is a bug fix release.
Changes in 2.8.4:
- Bug fixed where pressing escape at some prompts could segfault, depending on the script.
- A few typos corrected in lessons.
This release of GNU Typist is the first in the care of its new maintainer, Tim Marston. I'm pleased to be the project's new steward and I'll be working towards gtypist 2.9.

GNU Typist now has a new maintainer: Paul Goins.
A new release of gtypist is expected sometime within the next month. This will mostly be bug fixes and other changes which have been sitting in CVS but have not been properly released, though ...

Highlights: made the curses interface much more friendly by using menus controlled by arrow keys instead of function keys. Includes new lessons in Russian, and new interface translations in Dutch, Russian and Traditional Chinese.

- findwords.sh: new script to help with creating lessons.

- configure: checks for ncurses if curses if not available.
- built with automake-1.6.3 and gettext-0.11.5.
