FreeBSD now has a complete set of GNU FreeDink packages:

Thanks to Stephen Hurd and Martin Wilke!
Debian also accepted today the 1st of 3 FreeDink packages, more exactly 'freedink-engine'.

Well, after discussions the Debian GNU/Linux model appears far too rigid to add FreeDink in the next release. We'll make try to add it to backports.org once Lenny is out.
FreeDink will also be included in the next Ubuntu GNU/Linux's universe - whichever comes first :)
Meanwhile you still can use the latest official packages :)
