GNU epsilon is 64-bit clean; work on epsilonyacc

Item posted by Luca Saiu <positrone> on Mon 16 Jun 2003 06:48:17 AM UTC.

GNU epsilon was tested on a 64-bit platform, and it compiled and run with no modifications. This is especially important for the low-level parts, such as the garbage collector, which had never been tested on a 64-bit platform, even if they were written paying attention to portability.
I thank again Thomas A. Cort for having run the test his machine.

epsilonyacc is being developed, and it should be working soon.
