Luca Saiu used GNU epsilon for the ICFP2004 Programming Contest

In the ICFP Programming Contest you have exactly 72 hours to solve a problem and submit a solution via the Internet, using any language on any platform with a team of any size. I was alone and used epsilon.

The contest was a good test of the language, even if it's still immature.
In this sense it was a success: I submitted a perfectly correct and elegant
solution in time. I scored in the bottom half. Next year epsilon will be
more powerful, and I hope to make better.

It has been a great fun.

Upgraded to GPLv3 or later (posted by Luca Saiu, Thu 23 Aug 2007 10:37:10 AM UTC)

GNU epsilon is being re-licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3 or later.

The third implementation is going on, and I expect to commit a snapshot soon.
