If things are really wrong, then please provide me with a detailed algorithm of how to compute the correct space; I admit that I found it hard to find this info on the web.

I commented out the code for wide CJK punctuation in text_language.cpp
I am still confused, because I am sure that I wrote that code for some purpose. Maybe back when I wrote it, there were several fonts which did not do the spacing correctly. For instance, the TakaoPMincho and TakaoPGothic fonts do benefit from the extra space. But it is true that most fonts don't, so I removed the extra space (revision 13047).
