We've moved to GRUB 2 as a development platform. Please can you check if this bug still applies there, and if it does, reopen it?

Second disk has two partitions, second of which is a SUSE 9.2 Resiser FS partition.   Partition can be mounted from the rescue system, And it passes fsck with flying colors.  But everytime GRUB tries to do anything with it fails with an "Error 25:  Disk read error" message.

This happens with one particular drive on one particular system.  GRUB hasn't had any problems reading Reiser FS's on another system.  Including a second drive on that system.  Original problem was with the version of GRUB distributed with SuSe 9.2, since then I've compiled the CVS version and had the same problem.
