Sorry about this, it still does not work. After having entered the password it seems I get the same error.

It would be really, really nice if the error message was a bit more specific about what was wrong, though. But else please close this report.

I try entering "tla register-archive blabla sftp://uni/user/olau/gruppe/archives" which works. "uni" is a host (homer.cs.auc.dk) defined in .ssh/config with a private key so that I don't have to enter the password all the time. But when I do a "tla get article--mainline--1.0", tla says "pfs_archive_version: unidentifiable archive (d403a@cs.auc.dk--2004-bdd)".

If I use "sftp://homer.cs.auc.dk/user/olau/gruppe/archives", it works except that I now have to enter my password. Sigh.
