Yes, there seems to be a problem with plugin-eval, which I did not use since a long while.

Probably the problem was introduced when we started using Qt pipes for communication with the plug-ins.  So it would be best if Massimiliano or Denis could take a look and try to solve the problem.

After using the plugin-eval function, TeXmacs hangs.

For example, this line:

<extern|(lambda () (plugin-eval "python" "default" "1+1"))>

I have also compiled and installed the "secure" and "substitute" example plugins, which use plugin-eval, and they also hang TeXmacs.
