When a new document is created, this sometimes results in "Sans style" being displayed on the left of the contextual bar, instead of the expected "Générique" style (see attached picture). I could not find the pattern that governs this, it appears to be random. I will be happy to do more systematic testing if you cannot reproduce this.

Thanks for the fix. I tried it and it seems to circumvent the "No style" problem.
After the steps in comment #5 (or #6 if the multiple windows option is active), I end up with two windows with the same document open. Changes in the two windows are synchronised.
Only problem is that then there seem no way to close just one of these windows. Closing one closes the other one as well.
