The problem is still present. There are various ways to trigger this (for instance you don't need to go back to the first window). AFAICT this is only occurs with newly created buffers. The console shows:

Try this:

  • Open TeXmacs.
  • Clone Window.
  • Type two letters (in new window).
  • Go back to previous window. Type two letters.
  • Hit Undo.

Dead.
