I suppose it is ok now. Please reopen if not.

I don't think the bug is due to automatic charset detection, but I am not able to reproduce it. I pushed a fix on the svn (rev 8082), but we should make some tests to ensure the fix being correct.

I don't reproduce the bug (but I am under R version 2), that's why I asked for the sessions ios.

The sessions sends '<less>' and '<gtr>' to the plug-in.  This is also the case for other plug-ins, such as Mathemagix, and probably due to changes by Francois concerning conversions from and to verbatim.

Francois: please correct the bug, and avoid further modifications in these converters without notifying me a priori; these converters are used at many places, so extensive testing is needed whenever you want to tweek them.

Can you please set "debug io" and copy/paste the session log ?

Thanks.
François

For some reason, when I open an R session and type

1 < 2

I get

Error: unexpected '>' in "1 <"

The same thing happens when I use > instead of <, so I am guessing this has something to do with the way the greater/less than symbol is being passed around.

I am using R version 3.0.1 with TeXmacs 1.0.7.21 on OS X 10.6.8.
