I forgot to mention that I can reproduce it with version 1.0.7.19, which makes a stronger case for closing the bug.

Cannot reproduce it either under Windows 7, with a freshly compiled TeXmacs from SVN rev 7210. Should we close this?

I cannot reproduce this under MacOS (assuming meta+g is windows+g meaning selection-cancel, as defined in generic/generic-kbd.scm)

To reproduce:
1. Start TeXmacs (an empty document).
2. Type asdf.
3. Select the text.
4. Press Ctrl+x
5. Press Meta+g
6. Press Ctrl+v
Assertion failure in ./Texmacs/Texmacs/texmacs.cpp, line 80. This is TeXmacs 1.0.7.19 on Windows, with the default look-and-feel.
