And yeah, of course I'm using zsh and

export PS1="%n@%m:%~%B%{^[]0;%~^G%}%{^[k^[\%}>%b "
export RPROMPT=" %{^[[42m%}%T%{^[[0m%}"

(the ^[ are literal \033)

If I choose use the following minimal .screenrc-mini:

shelltitle '> |zsh'

then screen -c .screenrc-mini top

will start the program 'top' but the title of the window showing top will be 'zsh'

whereas

screen -c /dev/null top

will result in the window being named 'top'.

unfortunately this can't be remedied by giving -t because of #26633

Screen version 4.00.03jw4 (FAU) 2-May-06

on debian testing.
