Thank you.

We generally have no Portuguese translations other
than Brazilian Portuguese; the translations in question
are currently named *.pt-br.html, and you should
treat them as such.

I'm working on it. I just've finished /gnu/why-gnu-linux.pt-br.po, and I'm waiting for a member to review it.

I'd like to point out that, although Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese are similar and Brazilians can understand Portuguese texts and vice versa, they have substantial differences.

Following Sun's commitment [1] to rerelease its Java platform under GPL, some of the English pages have been amended accordingly. The following pages that are translated into your language need to be updated:

http://www.gnu.org/gnu/why-gnu-linux.pt.html
http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/philosophy.pt.html

When you start/finnish working on this, please update the bug fields accordingly to enable us to track the progress. Thanks in advance for your efforts.

P.S. This bug is probably the first filed for web translation problem specific to your language. For a rough rationale, see http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/private/trans-coord-discuss/2007-March/000075.html.
