Add more video drivers |
Marking as high priority.
Possible alternatives include:
- Use Linux drivers via lib-linux framework.
- pros: lib-linux almost complete. copylefted driver code.
- cons: parts (but not all) of Linux community hostile to GPLv3. cooperation can be difficult.
- Use X11 drivers via lib-x11 framework.
- pros: license is GPL-compatible.
- cons: lib-x11 framework doesn't exist yet. non-copylefted code; possible vector to indirectly benefit handcuffware.
A combination of both approaches is also feasible.
