Please provide more information. The format of floating-point variables is handled by the underlying debugger. DDD, as a graphical frontend, only displays the output as text.

The issue with the floating-point display cannot be verified with GDB as the underlying debugger. Please provide more information about the programming language and the debugger being used.

DDD displays floating point data in %f format. This is very inconvenient if their values are large (> 1.0e+8). It would be better to use %e format or provide a feature that lets the user control the output format
