Wed 06 Nov 2024 08:41:36 AM UTC, original submission: Liberty Eiffel still looks for SmartEiffel configuration style. As I found in archive.org the tarballs of SE2.x I tried to compile some vision examples. To do this I had to recompile SE2.3; it rightly placed its configuration into $HOME/.serc Later on I discovered that Liberty gives it an higher priority than the more modern $HOME. Since SE 2.3 and Liberty implement different version of the language and requires different standard libraries I propose to change Liberty not to look for old version of the configurations.
