sometimes dns response has another case than dns query. Here is the example:

nslookup ya.ru 127.0.0.1
Server: 127.0.0.1
Address: 127.0.0.1#53

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: YA.ru
Address: 5.255.255.242
Name: YA.ru
Address: 77.88.44.242
Name: YA.ru
Address: 77.88.55.242
Name: YA.ru
Address: 2a02:6b8::2:242

Here dns server is bind 9.
Not all dns servers act like this, but anyway dns should be case insensitive, RFC 4343.

Unfortunately grub (tested on 2.06 on fedora 40) is case sensitive, and it cannot resolve ya.ru, but can resolve YA.ru
