Unfortunately I didn't encounter more crashes afterwards, and I haven't been using TeXmacs as often recently. I felt like the new version might have fixed it. I think you can close this for now. If I encounter crash in the future I will create a new report. Thanks!

From the logs I do not see any connection between the two crashes. Could you please post some other logs in case it continues to happen? Thanks!

Thanks for reporting this very annoying bug.

We don't have a machine under MacOS 11.6; could the problem be due to this?

It could help if you describe even more precisely what happened and, if possible, how to reproduce the bug in a reliable way.

And TeXmacs just crashed again, when I close a document. The report is in crash.2.log.

I'm not sure if this can be reproduced 100% reliably, but I just open TeXmacs and let it be idle. After some time it crashes. The crash report is attached. The version of TeXmacs is v2.1 downloaded from https://www.texmacs.org/Download/ftp/tmftp/macos/TeXmacs-2.1.dmg
