bug #61222: [Wish] trailing whitespace to the left of the cursor should not be colored

Several syntaxes colorize trailing whitespace.  That may be nice when looking at existent files, but can be a nuisance while typing in a file.  (It doesn't bother me personally, because I don't look at the screen much while I type, but good typists will keep their eyes on the stuff they are typing and will be distracted by the flickering color of the last-typed space -- see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nano/+bug/1361131.)

This is probably hard to do.  Determining whether the cursor is at the end of the line and whether the preceding character is a space or a tab is easy, but then... figuring out where this whitespace starts will be somewhat costly, and then decolorizing it at the right moment...  (And maybe some people don't want it to be decolorized, so it would need an option to turn it on or off.)
