After sucesgull OS installation notebook does not boot. It freezes immediately after the GRUB menu (i.e. boot bethod selection) appears. Even the counter of seconds stops, but it is still seingh on the screen. The GRUB menu doesn't react to any key.

I'm seeing this same behavior with GRUB EFI being loaded by UEFI PXE Netboot on a Gigabyte GA-B75N motherboard.
I've tried the latest 2.06 tag, and the latest 2.11 version from master git, with the same results.
Loading grub using Legacy Bios Mode PXE works perfectly, without freezing.
But when loading from UEFI PXE, it freezes the moment the menu shows up, and the timer doesn't change.
The machine doesn't even respond to crtl+alt+del.
If I set the menu timeout to 0 (essentially disabling the menu), grub works perfectly and boots whatever menu option I leave as default without problem.
I tried setting some "sleep" commands in the grub.cfg, and it does wait and continues without problem.
It's just when it shows the menu and waits for the timeout/key input that grub freezes.
