Fixed in git, commit 101dc4e8, by binding ^E to Execute and dropping the rebinding of M-X.  And further improvements by adding ^Z and ^Y for Undo/Redo, and giving replacement bindings to the Linter and the Cut-Till-End functions in the Execute menu.

The change also makes ^U an unbound key, which is much better than having its meaning changed from Paste to Undo (when coming from the default bindings and trying to get used to the CUA bindings).

To reproduce, uncomment the last block of text in doc/sample.nanorc, then run:

src/nano --rcfile=doc/sample.nanorc

See that the tail of the help lines look like this:

^J Justify   ^T Go To Line
  ^P Location  ^U Undo

See that there is no direct access to the Execute menu (normally through ^T).  Now type ^O (Open file/Read file).  See that there is no way to toggle to the Execute menu (normally through ^X, but ^X has been rebound in all menus to Cut).

Also note that there is no way to toggle the help lines (normally with M-X, but M-X has been rebound in all menus).

Now I realize that "bind M-X flipnewbuffer all" is a mistake.  It was meant to read "bind M-X flipexecute all", to have a way to toggle between the Readfile and Execute menus because the normal ^X gets rebound to Cut.  But after making that change, I can toggle from Readfile to Execute, but not back, because nowadays the flipexecute in the Execute menu is a blind binding, it cannot be rebound -- it is either ^X, or (when ^X is rebound) it is absent.

Oof.  So... it seems best to rebind ^X only in the main menu, so that we can toggle between Readfile and Execute with ^X, and can leave M-X to toggle the help lines on and off.

Also, thinking a bit further, it is silly to have ^U Undo and ^E Redo when no other editor has this, and it certainly isn't CUA.  I made those bindings to have Ctrl keystrokes instead of only Meta keystrokes for Undo and Redo, but it's much better to have the standard CUA ^Z Undo and ^Y Redo.  Rebinding ^Z is not a problem, because Suspension is nowadays available in the Execute menu.  The speller is available there too, so it's not a problem to take away ^Y from the Speller either.  Sounds like a plan.
