Fixed in git, commit 77ca8735, by grouping "light" and "bright" properly: only with the basic eight "white" to "black" colors.

The nine extra color names (pink...latte) do not take a prefix, but when given a prefix in a nanorc file, the combination is colorized as if it were valid.

Expected behavior: invalid color names should be bright red.
