I confirm that I can reproduce this problem. In a clean TeXmacs C-e insert an enumeration. After I evaluate the kbd-map command  in a scheme session any subsequent C-e will insert the string 'C-e' in the document and if p or h is typed then run the commands (and remove the string). Otherwise the string will remain in the document.

I have the following keyboard shortcuts set up in my-init-texmacs.scm:

  ("C-e p" (choose-file wrapped-print-to-file "Save pdf file" "pdf"))
  ("C-e h" (choose-file (buffer-exporter "html") "Save pdf file" "html"))

Pressing "Ctrl-e" now insert the text "C-e" into the document.

If "p" or "h" is pressed afterwards, it dissappears and the shortcut is activated. If key other than "p" or "h" is pressed after "Ctrl-e", the text remains in the document.
