Fixed in git with commit 1486f32d.  It indents the wrapped parts of key descriptions with two tabs plus two spaces.  Together with the leading space of the wrapped piece of text itself, this makes for an indentation of 19 columns, two more than the start of the key decriptions, so it is clearer that the extra indented lines are continuation lines.

To reproduce, run 'stty cols 64 && LANGUAGE=en nano --ignore'.  Then type ^G.  See how the start of the listing of keystrokes looks like this:

^G     (F1)      Display this help text
^X     (F2)      Close the current buffer / Exit from nano
^O     (F3)      Write the current buffer (or the marked
 region) to disk
^R     (Ins)     Insert another file into current buffer (or
 into new buffer)

Well, one might say that few people use such narrow terminals, and when they do, they get to live with the result.  However, in German, several key descriptions wrap already on an 80-column terminal.  So, it would be nice the when key descriptions would get wrapped in a better way.  For example, like this:

^G     (F1)      Display this help text
^X     (F2)      Close the current buffer / Exit from nano
^O     (F3)      Write the current buffer (or the marked
                   region) to disk
^R     (Ins)     Insert another file into current buffer (or
                   into new buffer)

That keeps the keystrokes and the decriptions in separate columns.  Much more legible.
