Fixed in git, commit 978c121d -- a plain unchanged revert of commit 1f39f60b.  (Some improvements will follow later.)

To reproduce, put this into your nanorc:

  set speller "aspell -l en -x -c"

Then run 'nano README' and type ^T.  It suggests to replace the "xvzf" word, but ignore that.  Resize the screen.  (My terminal has hair borders that I can't grab with the mouse, so I use <Alt+Space>, choose the resize option, and then press the <Right> key several times.)  See how on almost every resize both nano and aspell write to the screen, turning it into a mess.  And when finishing the resizing and starting to type something, both nano and aspell read the input, and sometimes one gets it and sometimes the other.  I have to do 'killall nano' and 'killall aspell' in another terminal to regain control.

The culprit is of course commit 1f39f60b, where I removed the blocking of a sigwinch for the external spell checker.  I don't know what I did there.  When I tested it then, it worked fine: resizing the terminal caused no problem whatsoever.  Again a case of failing to run 'make' at the right moment?

The bug was released with version 3.2.
