Thu 27 Dec 2018 05:06:46 PM UTC, original submission:

Invoking "groff -v" with an additional switch which should invoke a script, e.g. 'chem', causes Groff to hang after displaying some roff directives, instead of showing the banner of the script.

The reason is that groff.cpp doesn't add '-v' to the command lines of some of the preprocessors.

Patch for Groff 1.22.4 is attached.
