Attached patch implements the requested feature.  (A subsequent patch will remove the now superfluous auto-indent suppression and such.)

Unduplicating, as bug #40060 is only about temporarily switching off auto-indent and automatic hard-wrapping while pasting text from the system clipboard, which turns out to be relatively easy.  Your request is about undoing, and looks quite a bit harder to implement.

OK. Then close it if you wish so.

Yes, it would be good when nano implemented "Bracketed Paste Mode".  There is a request for that: bug #40060.  It is not easy to make.

v2.9.3

# Problem
When I insert text (Ctrl+Shift+V or right-click+paste) which I copied from outside of nano and then execute undo then only a single line of the inserted text gets removed. I have to repeatedly execute undo until the whole text is removed.

# Request
When text is inserted from the system-clipboard and the undo-command is executed then the whole text-block which was inserted should be removed at once instead of line by line.
