Bug has appeared since XQuartz update to:
XQuartz 2.7.9 (xorg-server 1.17.4)

After ANY interaction with GNU, (including clicks on dice or checkers, clicks on file menus, click on top bar to drag the window) GNU will become unresponsive for about a second. The 3 coloured buttons top left of window will grey out at the same time and then return to their normal clours (Red Yellow Green).
