Previously sent via email, added to the bug report for closure.
My guess is that you are using Ubuntu and possible an older on like 11.04, 11.10, or 12.04?
If you are using 32 bit Ubuntu as your bug report says then these
instructions may help (They are a newer version of GNUBG), I have
included 64 Bit instructions as well.
I managed to try this on a Ubuntu 12.04 install that I had, and it seems to work.At a command prompt issue these commands to download and install the latest Ubuntu releases of GNUBG (first close all running copies of GNUBG):
-------------
32 Bit Ubuntu
-------------
sudo apt-get remove gnubg
wget http://launchpadlibrarian.net/104659881/gnubg-data_0.90%2B20120429-1_all.deb
wget http://launchpadlibrarian.net/104659880/gnubg_0.90%2B20120429-1_i386.deb
sudo dpkg -i gnubg_0.90+20120429-1_i386.deb gnubg-data_0.90+20120429-1_all.deb
-------------
64 Bit Ubuntu
-------------
sudo apt-get remove gnubg
wget http://launchpadlibrarian.net/104659881/gnubg-data_0.90%2B20120429-1_all.deb
wget https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnubg/0.90+20120429-1/+build/3475554/+files/gnubg_0.90%2B20120429-1_amd64.deb
sudo dpkg -i gnubg_0.90+20120429-1_amd64.deb gnubg-data_0.90+20120429-1_all.deb
