Deletion of files after retrieval takes place for FTP within the end of the innermost loop function, whereas for HTTP the caller of the retrieving function unlinks the file; this probably can be made more consistent and without repeating code. Furthermore, a HTTP input file should also eventually be excluded from being deleted when the unlinking responsibility changes.
