Hi,

I have approved your project.  You will receive an automated e-mail containing detailed information about the approval.

But please, add a README file for your <*.png> files as you didn't add it in your latest release. :)

Check http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html for further information.

Regards.

These issues have now been fixed in the latest development version: http://www.student.nada.kth.se/~d00-llu/audio/dino-0.3.28.tar.bz2

Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

First, the address of the FSF has changed, and is now:

51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA  02110-1301  USA

Please update your license notices.

Please update the copy of the license (usually, the 'COPYING' file) in your package as well.

Updated versions of the GPL, LGPL and GFDL can also be found at:
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.txt
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.txt

You can find some background and a possible migration script at https://savannah.gnu.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=3766

Second, some of your files cannot carry such notices (e.g. <*.png> files), can you add a README file in the same directory containing the copyright and license notices. Check http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html for further information.

To learn why a copy of the GPL must be included with every copy of the code, for example, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyMustIInclude.

Cheers

Description:
------------
Dino is a MIDI sequencer for GNU/Linux. It consists of a shared library that contains data structures, utility functions, and the actual sequencer, and a GUI program which links to the library and provides a graphical interface for editing the data structures and controlling the sequencer. It uses the JACK audio server (http://jackaudio.org) to provide sample-accurate synchronisation between MIDI and audio and to synchronise with other sequencers and transport-aware software such as drum machines or live loopers. It also supports (and requires) the LASH audio session handler (http://lash.nongnu.org) to let the user save entire sessions consisting of several audio and MIDI programs to a single file.

One version of Dino has been released and is available here: http://switch.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/dinoseq/dino-0.2.0.tar.gz

Other Software Required:
------------------------
The JACK audio connection kit (http://jackaudio.org)
The LASH audio session handler (http://lash.nongnu.org)
libglademm (http://gtkmm.org) and all its dependencies such as gtkmm, glibmm, libsigc++
libxml++ (http://libxmlplusplus.sourceforge.net)

All these packages are available under the GPL or LGPL licenses.
