Hello.

"under the terms specified in the README file of the Ruby distribution"

At first, please include a COPYING file with the ruby license inside (http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/LICENSE.txt) and a file COPYING.GPL and include there the GPL (http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt).

You need the GPL because of the dual-licensing in the Ruby license.

At second, then you should point the user in your license notices in every file of source code to your COPYING file, which includes the Ruby license (and name the license explicitly).

Regards,

Sebastian Wieseler <kickino>

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

At first, "Ruby is copyrighted free software by Yukihiro Matsumoto <matz@netlab.co.jp>.
You can redistribute it and/or modify it under either the terms of the GPL
(see COPYING.txt file), or the conditions below:", so its GPL compatible, no problem here. :-)

At second, please include a (perhaps temporary) URL pointing to the source code.
The description you gave when registering will not be read by the general public.
If you are still concerned with privacy, however, you can forward the code to me by email.

We wish to review your source code, even if it is not functional, to catch potential legal issues early.

For example, to release your program properly under the license of Ruby you must include a copyright notice and
license notices at the beginning of every file of source code. Our review would help catch potential omissions such as these.

Regards,

Sebastian Wieseler <kickino>
