Thank you soo much. :-)

We close this submission then. Feel free to re-register when you become GNU TLS compatible.

So go ahead and close the submission

Hello.

At first, you don't need to offer your project to the GNU project.

At second, we don't have any subversion support at all. So how do you plan to use Savannah?

At third, what features do you use of SourceForge, and are you willing to move them to Savannah?

At fourth, we would like to close this submission now, and you will be still able to re-register when your project supports GNU TLS instead of OpenSSL.
Do you agree with this process?

Thanks for looking into my project details.

I am not opposed to become a official GNU software project. But it looks bit premature to discuss the details about that. The actual game is still in early development stages. The rules are already tested as a pen and paper game... and will be expanded somewhat in the future.

The sourceforge project is now only used as a mirror. But what I have till now is done with subversion and I don't like to be forces back to use CVS. I like the better (an probably stricter) handling of projects at Savannah.

I will look into GNU TSL in the near future. I want to use secure http pages but I am willing to put the extra work into the project to convert it to TSL when it is feasable with their current API. Next week I will post if the porting to that library was a success. My dependency on OpenSSL is weak... the normal pages are unencrypted only the login needs the encryption.

Kind regards,

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

At first, Savannah is a central point for development, distribution and maintenance of GNU Software.

There is a companion site savannah.nongnu.org where we also host Free Software projects that are not part of the GNU Project, but run on free platforms.

However, we do not allow to host your project on Savannah and
SourceForge at the same time, if Savannah is just a project mirror.
Your project development should happen primary on Savannah.

How do you plan to use your Savannah account?

At second, OpenSSL has a GPL incompatible license, can you please switch to the free GNU TLS libraries? Or remove this dependence at all?

A new project has been registered at Savannah
The project account will remain inactive until a site admin approve or discard the registration.

######### REGISTRATION ADMINISTRATION #########

While this item will be useful to track the registration process, approving or discarding the registration must be done using the specific "Group Administration" page, accessible only to site administrators, effectively logged as site administrators (superuser):

Full Name:
----------
  Moros worlds of fantasy

System Group Name:
-----------------
  moros

Type:
-----
  non-GNU software & documentation

License:
--------
GNU General Public License V2 or later

Description:
------------
This is a game developing project for the game 'Moros' world of fantasy.
The pen and paper version of this game is almost complete and I seek a place to host the accompanying software:
- the script that creates the rule-book
. the rules are entered in openoffice-calc (ods format, http://www.openoffice.org)
. the rules themselves are GPL, they act as documentation
. the resulting book is in openoffice-text (odt format)
. the code to do this is written in ocaml http://caml.inria.fr/
- the character generator and game-master tool
. this is a http server
. it is written in ocaml with standard libraries http://caml.inria.fr/
. it uses the openssl library http://www.openssl.org/
. it uses libcrypt as part of the stdlibc

Future parts of this project:
- map drawing software; it uses openGL/ocaml
- a 3d game that shows the economy; it uses openGL/ocaml

It should be possible to compile all the software on Windows but all the development till down is done on Gnu/Linux.

The current source code can be found on http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/moros/moros.tar.gz?download
I prefer to use subversion above csv and I am acknowledge the good work GNU does for software development.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
  openoffice.org: www.openoffice.org
ocaml: caml.inria.fr
openssl library: www.openssl.org
libcrypt/stdlibc
