Okay, maybe I com to you when sf.net has increased their adverts too much. But my adblocker is still doing a good job.

Done: http://www.mxchange.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/

Okay, no interests in Copyright on these files... Public Domain.

I will take the full note as I a have found it on http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html#SEC4 So it will be fine. :-)  It's also done and can be found behind same link as in 1).

> 4) LICENSE or COPYING is okay as well

Few..... ;-)

Hello.

We close this submission now.

But I'll give you some free hints:
1) Yes, please rename Copyleft to Copyright

2) Also a CSS file needs /your/ copyright, if you don't want that, then you had to write in that file explicitly that this file was released under Public Domain, no Copyright then!

3) General Public License 2 (or any later version) should you use, because we work currently on GPLv3 with some patches and you should want that your project can be redistributed under this version of the license also

4) LICENSE or COPYING is okay as well

Mainly I have planed to use it for searching for german-english translations and back. I prefer simple texts in applications and not high-complex texts with too many technical words (written for doctors e.g. ;-) )

Okay, my answers now:

1. (Main usage of savannah)

Please reject my account. I currently want to stay on sourceforge.net. Well, I just want to make it more public to invite more people to use free software.

2. (GNU GPL / Copyleft)

I use this in every php script but nowhere in templates/CSS files. I don't want rights on templates and CSS files:

Copyleft (c) 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 by Roland Haeder
For more information visit: http://url

This program is free software. You can redistribute it and/or modify
it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by
the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License.

So I have to change Copyleft everywhere to Copyright??? Ufff! Okay, looks like for a sleepless night on weekend.

I named the GNU GPL http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt as 'LICENSE'. Isn't this this fatal, is it?

3.) (Images)

Ooops, I have to do that? Sorry, but I didn't know it. Okay, the note will be included in next downloadable patch file (ZIP).

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

At first, Savannah is a central point for development, distribution and maintenance of GNU Software.

There is a companion site savannah.nongnu.org where we also host Free Software projects that are not part of the GNU Project, but run on free platforms.

However, we do not allow to host your project on Savannah and
SourceForge at the same time, if Savannah is just a project mirror.
Your project development should happen primary on Savannah.

How do you plan to use your Savannah account?

At second, in order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the GPL,
please place **full** copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every file of source code.

In addition, if you haven't already, please include a copy of the plain text version of the GPL,
available from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt, into a file named "COPYING".

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html.

The GPL FAQ explains why these procedures must be followed.
To learn why a copy of the GPL must be included with every copy of the code, for example,
see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyMustIInclude.

At second, "Copyleft ..." is invalid. :-/
Please use "Copyright" as described in http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html

At third, for your images (.png,.jpg) please add a README file in their directory and write there copyright+license notices for these files down.

Description:
------------
The MXChange-Project is primary a free mail-exchange script written in PHP (4 fully tested but not bug-free, 5 lightly testet) and MySQL 4/5 database systems. It comes with a database-layer which make it easy to intergrate other database systems, template-system (webpages and emails!) for simple (?) customizing the HTML structure, CSS files for easier design changes and lots of high-security features and simple step-by-step installation procedure. The script can be updated from the main page with no additional costs. There are currently around 30 read-to-go extensions for download available and totally 100 extensions in development (30 are ready, 70 more are planed). The "intelligent" extension management and patch-system makes it very easy for webmasters to update their product.

The goal of the project is to give webmasters a freely available tool in their hands to start a promotion and in the next future and community service platform in Internet with bot-friendly URLs, caching-system to reduce database accesses by 33% and more.

Future improvements will be a news network with server-hub-client architecture and an so called "export account" to connect external scripts from other server to the main server.
