Hi,
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience. infoiasi.ro is the domain of my faculty. Unfortunately the students server (actually the whole domain) was down last night, I don't know why. This was twice a problem for me as I had to download/upload some files from/to my account there. This happens rare so I hope it won't be a problem (in the morning the server was accesible again). If it happens again in the next few days I'll try to find another host for the NetSwitch sources.

Thanks for your patience,

PS: the time here is 2 hours ahead GMT

Sorry for the grammar error in previous comment (#2). Please read "license" instead of "licence".

Thanks,

Hi,
I have modified the line in question. I fully agree to licence the NetSwitch project under the "GNU GPL v2 or later".
I have also updated my licence notices.
The updated version is available at the same location.

Regards,

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

_license_ = "GNU GPL v2.0"

Licensing under the "GNU GPL v2 only" is problematic.
Would you agree to license your project under the "GNU GPL v2 or later"?

The reason for this is that when we publish GPL v3,
it will be important for all GPL-covered programs to advance to GPL v3.
If you don't put this in the files now, the only way to port your program to GPL v3 would be to ask each
and every copyright holder, and that may be very difficult.

We can explain the issue in more detail if you wish.
If you have concerns about "GNU GPL v2 or later", we'd be happy to address them too.

Furthermore the address of the FSF has changed, and is now:

51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA  02110-1301  USA

Please update your license notices.

Updates versions of the GPL, LGPL and GFDL can also be found at:
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.txt
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.txt

Please update the copy of the license (usually, the 'COPYING' file) in your package as well.

You can find some background and a possible migration script at https://savannah.gnu.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=3766

http://www3.infoiasi.ro/~amihaila/en/netswitch.htm

It is free software (GPL v2)!
