Hello.

At first, ./setup.py still lack information about license/copyright.

At second, you added the license notices, but did not add appropriate copyright notices.

@author:        Simon Yuill
@copyright:     Simon Yuill
lacks at least the year of your copyright...

Please check http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html
for more information, and update your files.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.

'Numeric' is distributed under the Python license (as stated in the README file that accompanies the distribution).

I have atttached a new tarball with the new version of the GPL as a separate file ('LICENSE') and the license statement included in every source file.

best wishes
Si

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

At first, I couldn't found out the license of "Numeric" - could you please point me to it or ask the author about it?

At second, we recommend that you delete the whole license from your README file and put it into a COPYING or LICENSE file.

At third, the license does not contain the last section, titled "How to Apply These Terms to Your New Programs".

Please use a complete verbatim copy of the license,
which may be found at http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt,
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.txt or http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.txt.

The license must be copied verbatim and in its entirety.

At fourth, in order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the GPL,
please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every file of source code.

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html.

The GPL FAQ explains why these procedures must be followed.
To learn why a copy of the GPL must be included with every copy of the code, for example,
see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyMustIInclude.

And at last, the address of the FSF has changed, and is now:

51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA  02110-1301  USA

Please update your license notices.

Updates versions of the GPL, LGPL and GFDL can also be found at:
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.txt
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.txt

Please update the copy of the license (usually, the 'COPYING' file) in your package as well.

You can find some background and a possible migration script at https://savannah.gnu.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=3766

Look forward to your updated tarball.
Regards,

Sebastian Wieseler <kickino>

Description:
------------
Social Versioning System (SVS) is a framework for developing collaborative multi-user coding environments specifically geared towards use in gaming and simulation systems.  The framework enables scripts running in such a game or simulation to be easily accessed and edited while the game/simulation is running live.  Significantly this 'live coding' capability is provided with lightweight version control features - closer to a Wiki than a CVS.  The evolution of code within the game/simulation can be tracked over time and the framework aims to provide tools for doing this.

Beyond its use in gaming, SVS could be applicable to use in small code development teams, programming workshops and classes, and other forms of collaborative coding projects.

Detailed documentation of the project is available at:
