Hi,

I am waiting for an answer from you.

If within one week I still do not get a reply, I will remove your project.
You will still be able to register it again once you have the time to deal with the registration issues.

Are you still willing to host your project at Savannah?
If not, please tell us - we don't bite, and it will make us gain time.

Regards.

Hello.

Your project lacks a COPYING file, please include one:
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.txt

And please include a README file in the directory of your *exe und *dll file(s) and write there the license/copyright information + permission-to-copy statements down.

Regards,

Sebastian Wieseler <kickino>

I updated my website and the homepage is online.
I have uploaded the project to the Savannah CVS repository.

When the first release will be available i will make a .zip and a .tar.gz with the full first release source code.

Hello.

At first, there is no need to use our CVS repository for your project. But how do you plan to use Savannah then?

Savannah's main goal is to provide a plattform for the development of its projects. So you had to host your source code here.
You can do this while using the CVS repository and/or using the file area.

At second, just for record:
$ svn co svn://cyber-developpement.com/dotnetpatcher dotnetpatcher

Beside that the source code looks okay.

Look forward to your reply.

Hello,

Yes the CVS tree is empty i use my own SVN server
svn://cyber-developpement.com/dotnetpatcher
I asked on savanah if i could use it, the support
answer yes.

My current site is not configured to interpret ASP.NET page due to a change made in the config file.
Iw ill fix this soon but i have lot of work for now and i don't have much time to fix it.

Must i use the CVS server in my case ?

Regards

Hello.

I've seen that your CVS tree / the file area is still empty and your submitted homepage <http://www.cyber-developpement.com/dotnetpatcher> does not exist.

Please tell us about the current status of your project.
If you do not need it anymore please tell us, we don't bite.

Regards.

Hello.

In order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the LGPL, please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every file of source code.

In addition, if you haven't already, please include a copy of the plain text version of the LGPL,
available from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.txt, into a file named "COPYING".

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.html#SEC4.

And I have approved your project for inclusion in Savannah.

We will be reviewing the cvs code in a month (or better at your request) to check if the source files contain appropriate copyright notice and
permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every file of source code.
Our review would help catch potential legal issues early.

You should get an automated email with more information shortly.

Regards,

Sebastian Wieseler <kickino>

At first, reply to this tracker item by following this link:

At second, if your project will run on a Free Software .NET suite, it is all right for us.

And at last, your projects meets the Savannah requirements, except that we cannot review your source code yet.

We can approve it, and review the code in the near future (or better, at your request).
We will among other check if the source files contain appropriate copyright notice and permission-to-copy statements
at the beginning of every file of source code. Our review would help catch potential legal issues early.

If then the source code does not meet our requirements (for example, non-free dependencies),
we will then discuss the issue and possibly remove the project from Savannah.

Is this ok for you?

Hi,
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

At first, "Linux" is just a kernel of a more complex system that we like to refer to as GNU/Linux, to emphasize the ideals of the Free Software movement.

Would you mind changing references to Linux as an OS to GNU/Linux?

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/gnu/linux-and-gnu.html.

Furthermore, you must determine whether your project can run on a Free Software .NET suite.

We recommend you to test your project against DotGNU Portable .NET and Mono, and ensure that your code runs on this Free Software .NET suite (see www.dotgnu.org and www.mono-project.com for more information).

Please provide us with more information about this point.
