Hi,

We did not get a response from you, so we deleted your project from the pending queue.

If you would still like to have your project hosted at Savannah, please register it again.

The re-registration URL found in our acknowledgment of your earlier registration will direct you to the proper location where you can re-register your project.

Regards.

Hi,

I am waiting for an answer from you.

If within one week I still do not get a reply, I will remove your project. You will still be able to register it again once you have the time to deal with the registration issues.

Are you still willing to host your project at Savannah? If not, please tell us - we don't bite, and it will make us gain time.

Regards.

Hi,

Looking at the archives, I removed your projects myself last august:
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/savannah-hackers/2004-08/msg00472.html

Apparently the system recreated it - empty. I assume this is a concurrency issue - me removing the project from the system and the cron job recreating it before I removed its entry from the database.

AFAICS the source and webcvs are empty, as well as the download area.
Can you tell me what trace remains for the project?

I wait for you updated tarball :)

Address/license is updated in CVS and the website. I'm in the process of rolling a new tarball with other changes in it, so I'll wait until that's done before putting the new one up and forwarding to you.

The old project name was "psmon". It was specifically requested in writing and email that it be removed, for various reasons, but it never was, so this is an attempt to undo the damage of it still existing as was. (There are a number of legal and privacy reasons why it was originally requested to be removed).

Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

Can you tell me what is the old project name, so I can reassign it to you or remove it?

Also, http://search.cpan.org/~mharnisch/Syslog-0.97/Syslog.pm states that Unix::Syslog is released under the Artistic license, which we consider non-free because it's too vague. You need to either drop the dependency, be it weak, or contact the author to relicense its work, for example under the same license as Perl (disjunction of the Artistic license and the GNU GPL).

Last, the address of the FSF has changed, and is now:

51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor, Boston, MA  02110-1301  USA

Please update your license notices.

Please update the copy of the license (usually, the 'COPYING' file) in your package as well.

Updated versions of the GPL, LGPL and GFDL can also be found at:
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/lgpl.txt
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.txt

You can find some background and a possible migration script at https://savannah.gnu.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=3766

Please provide me with an updated tarball, tell me about what you intend to do wrt Unix::Syslog and what the previous project is (we currently do not desactivate old projects).

Regards.

Description:
------------
This is an existing savannah project (which is probably disabled) which I need to reassign to this account.

PSMon is a Perl script which can be run as a stand alone program or a fully functional background daemon, capable of logging to syslog with customisable email notification facilities.

The user defines a set of rules in an Apache-style plain text configuration file. These rules describe what processes should always be running on the system, and any limitations on concurrent instances, TTL and maximum CPU/memory usage of processes. PSMon scans the UNIX process table and, using the set of rules defined in the configuration file, will respawn any dead processes, and/or slay or "deal with" any aggressive or illegal processes.

Originally written and designed for use by a UK ISP, it is designed to be as flexible as posible, for use on a per-user, or system-wide server basis.
