Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

You set the copyright to the FSF:
# Copyright 2005
# Free Software Foundation, Inc.
# Written by Aaron Marks.

Did you official assign your copyright to the FSF (by sending signed papers, etc.)?
If not, you need to use your name as copyright holder, at least until you decide to assign your copyright to the FSF :)

GPack - Package manager for GNU based systems
GPack is a easy to use package manager which is released under the terms of the GPL. It is programmed 100% using GNU Bash and the GNU tools provided by default on most GNU based systems and features a simple package management interface, dependancy handling and simple package building via specialised shell scripts. These specialised shell scripts automate the package building process & integrate well with projects using GNU autotools.

GPack works with both source package files (specialised shell scripts) and package archives (tar.gz with additional files) and is to be used in an upcoming GNU/Linux distribution named Sat GNU/Linux, which will be based on only free software (Sat GNU/Linux aims to be a more English central distro which has much in commong with Ututo GNU/Linux).

A W.I.P. version is available for download here:
http://members.optusnet.com.au/dfmarks/gpack-0.7.1.tar.gz

This file contains the package manager & 3 example packages (2 fake & 1 small). These example packages are quite small as when testing long waits are unbearable.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
  GNU bash
GNU wget
GNU sed
GNU awk
GNU tar
GNU coreutils
