Hi Jonathan,

I'm sorry for the delay. I've added some missing GPL headers, I hope this is fine now.

I could not add headers for some template files (.tpl) which are inlined iteratively into a final html file, this would result in a duplication of GPL comments in the generated file.

You can find the new tarball here: http://nestech.free.fr/pub/tidydoc-0.1b.tar.bz2

Thanks !

Hi,

I am waiting for an answer from you.

If within one week I still do not get a reply, I will remove your
project. You will still be able to register it again once you have the
time to deal with the registration issues.

Regards,

Jonathan Gonzalez V. <zeus>

Hi Nicolas,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

You have the copyright and license notice missing in some files,
please fix this. Remember that any file with more than ten lines longs
and generated by hand should carry on a copyright and license notice
including shell scripts, SQL files, image files, etc.

In order to learn more about the GNU GPL consider to read the GNU GPL
Howto here: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html

To avoid confusions about how to apply a proper copyright and license
notice consider to read these URLs:

    http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html
    http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/License-Notices.html

If you are willing to make the changes mentioned above, please provide
us with an URL to an updated tarball of your project.  Upon review, we
will reconsider your project for inclusion in Savannah.

Regards,

Jonathan Gonzalez V. <zeus>

  Tidydoc : documentation organizer.

The goal of tidydoc is to make documentation organization easier. It addresses the following problems:

Add documents to a pool of documents.

Give them the right names and put them into the right directories.

Generate a set of HTML pages to browse your documents.

tidydoc is written in Python in a spirit of flexibility and easy tweaking, but with default behaviors which should fit the needs of most people.

You can add documents using arbitrary commands, such as a simple cp or through ssh with scp.

tidydoc can then generate HTML files indexing your documents. A simple XML file is required for each document, including some informations. These description files may be generated by using tidydoc upload facilities, but this is not mandatory.

Tidydoc is close to GNU Orgadoc, but it has a wider ambition, it also provides a way to upload documents. In addition, there is no synchronisation problems (with Orgadoc, using CVS is almost mandatory to manage a pool of doc with multiple users). Finally, using Python instead of Eiffel should make it easier to extend and maintain the software.

No additional tool is required, a standard Unix system with a Python interpreter will do the job.
