Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

The copyright and license notices you included in the Perl module files are fine. However, lots of files are lacking these notices. Also, it is best to place the notices at the very top of the files - but it is ok if you keep them at the bottom.

The documentation also lack proper license declaration. For documentation, we recommand the GNU Free Documentation License, but any GNU GPL-compatible license is fine. If the html/ files are generated from the latex/ ones, you do not have to place notices in
those files.

If you are willing to make the changes mentioned above, please provide us with an URL to an updated tarball of your project (or update the SF repository). Upon review, we will reconsider your project for inclusion in Savannah.

Note that this time I should reply within 24 hours.

Regards.

Hello,

Sorry for the delay. We got quite a lot of submissions at once and got backlogged.
I'm reviewing your project right now.

Description:

Sched - A complete network scheduling system solution

Sched is used to synchronize and follow tasks ("traitement de nuit" in french) on environments comprising several hosts.  The project does not include scheduler (cron, fcron, anacron etc.)

The system is composed of one (or several) master (sched_master), of agents (sched_slave) and jobs (sched_job) (organization of task to execute).

The user can create his job via a gtk program (sched_builder) and can follow his treatments via a web interface (sched_view).  Sched will synchronize stop/starting etc. (without using of ssh account passwordless) and will make it possible to follow each stage via a graph of execution (reporting).

Via sched_view the administrator will be able to start again part of a job, to consult the logs, to launch a job etc...  The application is written in Perl (I use modules of the CPAN) and a postgresql database.

All the dependences are available via apt.

The source code is available on sf.
