Thanks for removing the error message, that will do.  I'll just keep the .win file and avoid board3d\Makefile.w32.

Ok, this seemed to be a small cvs error... it should be fixed now.

board3d/Makefile.win is there and the

"cvs server: Updating .
cvs server: nothing known about Makefile.w32"

message is gone.

Hi Michael,

You'll notice that I removed "board3d/Makefile.w32" and instead added "board3d/Makefile.win".

If you look at the "branch-board3d" branch you'll see the old "board3d/makefile.w32" file (notice the small 'm').

I can live with it, cvs is just confused and keeps saying, "nothing known about board3d/Makefile.w32" - you can see this if you check out the gnubg module.

Not 100% sure of the solution to tidy up cvs (may be deleting makefile.w32 from the attic or some other cvs internal files).
If it's not obvious just close this bug request and we'll just ignore the cvs message...

Files can only be deleted by Savannah administration--you can however use the cvs remove feature, which stows files in the cvs attic.

That said, this would be the place to post your request.

The repository has board3d/Makefile.w32 in it, shown here: http://savannah.gnu.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs/gnubg/gnubg/board3d/

I would suggest trying a fresh checkout and seeing if the problem persists.

I've managed to confuse the cvs repository for the gnubg project.  I added a new file (board3d/Makefile.w32) when there was already a deleted file which was from another branch which had a different case in the filename (board3d/makefile.w32).

I now get warning messages from cvs:
cvs server: nothing known about Makefile.w32

I've looked on the web and the solution seems to be removing files directly from the cvs repository.  Is it possible to access the cvs server directly?  Or can someone fix the problem for me?
